A Classic Junmai Ginjo That Embodies the Spirit of Akitora

With a soft ginjo aroma, full-bodied flavor, and refreshing acidity, this Junmai Ginjo has long been a beloved staple since the birth of the Akitora brand.

Crafted with care year after year, it represents the foundation of our brewing philosophy. While honoring tradition, we continue to fine-tune this sake in pursuit of the ideal flavor—allowing it to evolve with the times.

It offers a gentle, fruity bouquet reminiscent of melon and banana. On the palate, a well-rounded richness unfolds, balanced by a crisp acidity that brings the entire experience into harmony.
Full-flavored yet clean in the finish, it pairs beautifully with a wide variety of dishes.

🍽 Recommended Pairings

This sake’s rounded acidity and rich umami make it a versatile companion for food, especially:

  • Grilled or glazed chicken dishes
→ The umami of the meat harmonizes with the sake’s depth, while the acidity keeps the finish light.

  • Creamy white sauce dishes (e.g., chicken in cream sauce)
→ The subtle ginjo aroma and richness meld beautifully with creamy textures.

  • Ponzu-based salads or chilled dishes
→ The refreshing acidity in both the food and the sake complement each other perfectly.

🌡 Best Enjoyed Slightly Chilled

We recommend serving at around 10–13°C (50–55°F).
This temperature range enhances the aroma while highlighting the delicate balance of flavor and acidity.
